About Wicker Man
Wicker Man is a wooden roller coaster at Alton Towers in Staffordshire, England, UK, open since 2018. The ride stands 72 feet tall, drops 60 feet and reaches 45 mph over 2,850 feet of track.
The park's first wooden coaster, built around a giant wicker effigy that appears to burn with real fire and pyrotechnics as trains pass beneath it.
Field note: the flame effects are timed to specific train positions, so the show changes with the ride.
