About SheiKra

★ First dive coaster in North America

SheiKra is a steel dive roller coaster at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay in Tampa, Florida, USA, open since 2005. The ride stands 200 feet tall, drops 200 feet and reaches 70 mph over 3,188 feet of track.

North America's first dive coaster: a 90-degree drop that holds riders dangling face-down over the edge before release. A second drop later sends the train through a splashdown trench.

Field note: modeled after Oblivion at Alton Towers, but taller and with a full loop.
