Big Bad Wolf was a steel roller coaster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg in Williamsburg, Virginia, USA. It opened in 1984 and closed in 2009. The ride stood 90 feet tall, dropped 90 feet and reached 48 mph over 2,800 feet of track.
A suspended coaster whose cars swung freely beneath the track, swooping low over a recreated Bavarian village. Its finale sent riders diving toward a river before pulling up short.
Field note: closed in 2009 and demolished; still mourned by enthusiasts as one of the best suspended coasters ever built.
