About Verbolten

Verbolten is a launched steel roller coaster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg in Williamsburg, Virginia, USA, open since 2012. The ride stands 52 feet tall, drops 34 feet and reaches 48 mph over 1,615 feet of track.

Verbolten's trains launch through a themed building where the show path actually varies between rides, one of the only coasters in the world with a randomized in-ride route.

Field note: replaced the park's Big Bad Wolf coaster, reusing part of its original wooded, ravine-set right-of-way.
