About Behemoth

★ Tallest & fastest roller coaster in Canada at opening (2008)

Behemoth is a steel roller coaster at Canada's Wonderland in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, open since 2008. The ride stands 230 feet tall, drops 205 feet and reaches 77 mph over 5,318 feet of track.

Behemoth's 200-foot drop and long stretch of high-speed track made it the tallest and fastest coaster in Canada when it opened, a title it held until its own park sibling surpassed it.

Field note: dethroned as Canada's tallest coaster four years later by Leviathan, built at the same park.
