Coaster Archives is a free, independent roller coaster database. By using the site you agree to these terms. They're meant to be plain and fair.

Using the site

Coaster Archives is free to browse and use for your own, non-commercial enjoyment. Don't use it to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or disrupt the service — that includes scraping it in bulk, hammering it with automated requests, or trying to break, probe or overload it.

The information here

Stats, opening and closing dates, statuses and other details are compiled from public sources and are provided as is, for general information only. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and some figures are approximate. Never rely on anything here for safety, travel or other important decisions — check directly with the park. We make no warranty that the site is accurate, complete or always available.

Your account

You don't need an account to use the ride counter, but a free account saves it across devices. Keep your login details secure — you're responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or remove an account that abuses the site or these terms.

Reviews and content you post

Reviews, ratings and other content you submit stay yours. By posting, you give Coaster Archives a non-exclusive licence to show and distribute that content on the site. Only post content that's your own and that's honest, lawful and not abusive, hateful, deceptive or spam. We can edit or remove content, and we don't endorse opinions in user reviews.

Names, logos and images

Park names, ride names and logos belong to their owners and are used here only to identify them. Coaster Archives is an independent fan project and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any park, operator or manufacturer. Photos and logos come from sources such as Wikimedia Commons and Coasterpedia under their licences and are credited on each coaster's page; if you own an image and want it changed or removed, contact us.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Coaster Archives and its maintainer aren't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or anything on it. The service is provided without warranties of any kind.

Changes

The site and these terms may change over time. Significant changes will be reflected on this page with a new date above. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
