About Full Throttle

★ World's tallest complete-circuit vertical loop at opening (2013)

Full Throttle is a launched steel roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California, USA, open since 2013. The ride stands 160 feet tall, drops 100 feet and reaches 70 mph over 2,900 feet of track, with 1 inversion.

Full Throttle launches forward and backward through the same 160-foot loop twice, a top-hat structure that set the record for the tallest full loop on any coaster when it opened.

Field note: its dual-direction launch means riders experience the loop from both the front and back of the train.
